   I want to go home.

   Домой is “home” as a direction. Дом alone means “the house”.

4. Я хочу спать.

   Ya hochu spat'.

   I want to sleep.

5. Я хочу воды.

   Ya hochu vody.

   I want some water.

   Вода (water) becomes воды after хочу when you mean “some water”.

6. Я не хочу кофе.

   Ya ne hochu kofe.

   I don't want coffee.

   Not is не, placed right before the verb.
