Refund Policy

Except where mandatory law requires otherwise, subscription payments are generally non-refundable once a paid billing period has begun. A refund is generally not provided solely because you dislike AI-generated lessons, disagree with the teaching approach, find the material unhelpful, are dissatisfied with the learning experience or do not achieve the progress you hoped for. A subjective preference is different from a digital service that is defective or does not conform to the contract.

Educational material may be generated or improved with AI. Its quality, phrasing, difficulty and usefulness can vary, and it may contain errors or omissions. We do not guarantee that a particular teaching method will suit every learner or that you will achieve a specific level, score, fluency or other learning outcome. Mandatory remedies remain available where the service is legally defective or non-conforming.

You may cancel at any time through the Stripe Billing Portal available in LingoStep. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless a mandatory right or an approved refund applies, you keep Premium access until the end of the already-paid billing period and no unused portion is automatically refunded.

This policy does not exclude any refund, price reduction, correction, renewed performance, termination or other remedy required by applicable law. If a digital service is defective, unavailable or does not conform to the contract, you may have statutory remedies. EU/EEA consumers may also have a 14-day withdrawal right for a distance contract, subject to applicable rules and exceptions. Accepting the Terms of Service alone does not waive that right, and we do not assume that the immediate-supply exception for digital content applies to an ongoing subscription service.

Contact the support address shown below with the account email, payment date and reason for your request. We will assess the request under this policy and applicable law. Where a refund is legally required, it will be handled using the legally required method and timeframe.
